Happy National Hydration Day! Make sure to drink plenty of water during the summer months because it’s very easy to become dehydrated when it being hot. You’ll know your hydrated well when your pee is clear!
Why do have National Hydration Day (Falls on June 23rd) because SafeTGard Corporation, a company that sells sport related safeguard equipment. The day is to honor the accomplishment of Victor Hawkins, who invented a mouth guard that will suppler electrolytes to prevent dehydration.

Tap or bottled some tap water isn’t safe to consume sonit spends on where you live.

@Nakitakona bottled water is filter and gets the bad stuff out of waters. Some places in the world you have to boil your water because of where they live we have so places in the US that gets run off water it’s not good to drink if you don’t have the proper filter to get the stuff out. Some people use well water as well you have to know the area where you live to know both is good. We use mostly bottled water the kids can drink our tap we do have a good filter system and the water goes through a water treatment center before it comes to our house through the pipes so it’s all go but some other places are not.

I have paintball practice today, and we are running a simulated tournament with 7 other teams from around Florida. Practicing all day in this excessive Florida heat and humidity with full gear on requires us to drink tons of water and Gatorade. It's funny, the first thing players run for when they get off the field is the water cooler!

I remember those days for soccer where we did camp all day from 6am fill 6pm lots of water and Gatorade was consumed to keep hydrated and a live from not getting heat stroke.

@moffittjc that is good he go quick treatments. That means he recovered a lot quicker. Yes heat is no joke. We spend a lot of time explaining to the kids that’s why when they come in from playing outside I want them drinking water first before they get milk. So they can cool down a little. Then they can have water else they want to drink. They also have 16oz water bottles this year to drink from.

@ShyBear88 At our last paintball tournament we had one of our players go down with heat stroke. Luckily, there were paramedics on site that were able to identify and treat him immediately. That heat is no joke!
