Im excited with my new toy. The kalimba. Ive been yearning to learn the piano but I guess Im too old to do so and aside from that piano is really expensive and I cant afford it. Im glad there's a thumb piano and for just a couple of hours I was able to learn a song. You are my sunshine. Its really nice, I love the sound of it. Its so soothing and hubby falls to a doze when ever I play the song.

I have heard the sound of this instrument. It can take you to another world. I understand why you would want to learn to play it.

It is my first time to see it. Do you learn it through watching videos on YouTube?

I saw this from the online store. I am not good at music but this seems to be funny to try.

Is Kalimba a native Philippine musical instrument like the kulintang and the gong? This is the first time I''ve encountered this. Glad you shared and happy to know you love music and the piano. Don't worry much, I didn't get far with the ebony and ivory keys. Shucks, I couldn't read notes. My eyes would tend to rest on the rest. Here's to more pieces.

@Zelmarq Will check out the music stores. Since it is portable, I can bring it to parties and play Happy Birthdday, or to caroling and serenade people with Silent Night. Thank you for sharing.
