What did you do on your First Check or First Salary?

We have a belief here but I'm not sure if everyone does this, that my first salary should give to my parents. I don't know how or when that belief started but that's fine with me! I'm so happy when I saw my first salary. Saw because I wasn't able to touch it since I let my mother have my ATM so that they can withdraw it, I didn't feel anything doing that it's just fine since I really don't have to buy anything with it, but on my second salary, I treated them to eat outside. How about you? What did you do on your first salary?

i think i gave it to my dad.if i remember his job was on strike at the time.

I paid my tithing to the lord. I paid my private loan. And the rest I gave it to my wife.
