Jane Nichols never says "no" to her friends; and that is why she has been a bridesmaid 27 times. Jane is a bridesmaid in another wedding and is constantly checking her watch during the ceremony. When there is a break during the reception she runs out and gets a cab and tells the driver that she will give him $300 for the night if he doesn't look in the rear view mirror. She then proceeds to change into an Indian sari. She is seen throughout the rest of the night running back and forth between two weddings. When it comes time for the bouquet toss at the first wedding, the bouquet comes straight to Jane; but she is tackled by some other women and is knocked unconscious. When she comes to, Kevin, a guest at the wedding, helps her up and offers to accompany her home. When they get to her house and Jane leaves the cab, Kevin finds that she has left her day planner on the seat. He decides to read it and discovers that she has been in 7 weddings that year; and since he is a writer of a newspaper's "Commitments" section, he later asks his editor if he can write a story about Jane. This movie came out in 2008 and is a romantic comedy. Katherine Heigl plays Jane. It's a cute and funny little movie...not an award-winner by any means, but good for an evening's entertainment.
