Lunch Break

We have a break at 12 and are to get back to the grinds at 13:00. For me, it's too short a break because our break time is not only for lunch. First, I have to pray that takes about 20 minutes; secondly, I have to find a restaurant that usually takes more than 25 minutes as I have to queue to get my lunch box. That's 45 minutes already. The remaining 15 minutes' time is for having lunch. Maybe 60 minutes is adequate but I have to rush. What about your lunch break? Do you have to rush to have your lunch?

Our lunchbreak is only for 1 hour. Good enough to eat for 20 minutes or more and the rest, go down the grocery to buy some groceries for 15 minutes and take a power nap. Usually I nap for about 20-30 minutes, when I have eaten an early lunch at our snacktime in the morning at 10-10:15. I usually would go down the restaurant who serves employees meal during snacktime and take my queue for 5 minutes, so we usually would go back after 20 minutes.

That's a longer nap compared to my nap.

@SIMPLYD It is said that taking a nap is important although you take a very short one.

@yanzalong Sometimes, when there is no time left anymore during breaktime because I went to the city proper to buy something, i nap for only 10 minutes. It makes me feel reinvigorated already.

No as I am a homemaker. It's 10:17 am. I will have my lunch in between 1 to 2 p.m. Why don't you bring your lunch from home? So that you can save the time.

@yanzalong I am doing that when I was studying my master in educational management. I had a limited time to eat my lunch for I had an hour for lunch for my next period class. I got an hour to take my lunch. It took time to go to the nearest eatery. So I had to eat my packed lunch inside the classroom. So I would not be late. I had time to relax or to have a power nap till my next class.
