Wait, didn’t I use that song earlier in this countdown of favorites with “summer” in the title? No. I had a song with the same title in the countdown....and, although it wasn’t true at the time this song was recorded, it turns out both songs with this title have a connection to the same band. Gee, can you think what band that might be? Here’s the song. #2: Indian Summer - Poco And will you look at it, another shocking group showing up on this list? Indian Summer (Native American summer for Lori ) was the last Poco album before Timothy Schmit left the band to join the Eagles, replacing Randy Meisner. Coincidentally, when he joined Poco in 1968, he was replacing.....Randy Meisner. When he joined the Eagles he met up with Joe Walsh, who did the other song on this list titled “Indian Summer.” This and its predecessor, Rose of Cimarron, are two of my favorite Poco albums. This song has so much of what I love about Poco in it. Indian Summer Written by Paul Cotton Recorded by Poco From Indian Summer, 1977 Ain’t no black clouds filled with rain:
POCO. "Indian Summer". 1977. "Indian Summer" (remaster. 2013). ABC Records. por Joaquín Nieto.

It’s quite a common song title. It’s like “I Love You” (well, we all love you, Fredo!)...lots of songs with that title!
