I have heard about this place from so many people that I have always been fascinated, of going there...
Leh,Ladhak.... In the laps of Himalayas..
And finally I fixed everything for my trip that I am off to start from next weekend....
Finally a much awaited destination going to be done from my check list...

I have been to Nepal the closest to the Himalayas. Missed going by that flight that surround the Himalayas as we had to abandon the idea due to bad weather

WOW! I bet this would be one trip to go down your memory lane.
It's on my check list for years but still I could not make it. Husband went there four years back and he was mesmerized. The best season to visit is June to August and my children always have their exams and schools at that time. I am hopeful that my turn will come in few years.
