It was in a tiny pot but has now grown into a small tree as the roots have travelled right into concrete floor. My tree will soon get clusters of purple flowers and ornamental fruits which are orange in colour I already see a few flowers.
I have no plans to torture it into a bonsai. Hawthorn is ideal of creating bonsai.
For me creating bonsai is torturing plants or trees as they have to be deeply tripped, wired and planted in pots although they grow into stunted trees.
Large Website located in the UK, Bonsai4me offers Bonsai Art, Species guides for Bonsai trees, Bonsai galleries and Bonsai Techniques.

@allknowing I tried it. But I was not good at keeping them that small. I dont mind keeping them potted for house size.

It is not required that we torture plants to create this art.

There is a flower which I love. I am sure it would do very well in your garden as you tend to your plants beautifully. It is called Passiflora. There is a beautiful story about this lovely flower which you might enjoy reading.
