Happy Thursday one day form the weekend and of course it’s National Onion Day!
Onions are great for cooking with and come in many different types. I like white sweet onions to cook with and I use a lot of onions and in a lot of meals for dinner.
When was this found well officially today the National Onion Association found it June 27th 2019! They represent over 500 Onion growers, shipping, and packets.

I get onions in the supermarket and did not know there was a special day for them. I will have them this week in a salad and with my schnitzel I made awhile ago.

@sophie09 you can pull up the National Calandra and it tells you. A lot of time I pull them up when my Inboxdollar has a code and today code had to do with it being National Onion Day. So when I get a code I bing it in my search engine to see if it really is happening today.

Not all as stinky, I don’t mine the smell love the taste of a food sweet onion on a burger and in my meatloaf. My kids don’t even know it’s in there because of how small I cut them up. The picture above is of shallots. They are a type of onion that most people do know.
