I understand that netting costs money. But seriously, when will Major League Baseball extend the netting?

Link is to my podcast on the idea of MLB extending the netting.
It scares me when I see someone get hurt by a foul ball.
Watching great catches by fans is interesting. Watching a kid get hit by a ball makes me sick. Come on Baseball!!!...

it really is, a 2 year old was hurt in a game in late May, Horrible.

It seems the cost of netting would be a pittance compared to the bad press and the possibility of lawsuits. Despite what it says on the ticket if a plaintiff can convince a jury that the park and league were negligent in preventing an obvious danger, then the settlement could far outweigh the price of putting up a net.

I thought they were going to extend the netting.
