Sleepy summer

Summer time is here and this week im off work. My older girls seem to want to stay up all night and sleep all day! It is driving me buts. I know its normal for their age but it is so annoying to me. I am trying not to be the mean mom but sleeping until noon makes no sense to me.
Do your kids have the same sleep schedule during summer? Why do they like to stay up so late?

I don't have kids and I don't have a schedule for myself either

I usually work. That is probably why i don't understand sleeping so late.
