This is what 'looking uniform', 'being normal' looks like.

This is not a HOA--this is being done by the owners who own the 20 buildings and property and have an agreement with HUD! We can't fight it and believe me we tried.

@cperry2 I agree with you 100% but because of circumstances my choices are very limited--still doesn't stop me from shouting out when I feel someone/something is wrong!!

@GreatMartin got ya. We own, and this neighbor hood once was under an HOA but that ended before we found the place. I still had to sign off on the fact that there had been an HOA even though it no longer operates as such. I've seen some fairly ugly stuff with those groups. Most of it ridiculous. I cant imagine what this new administrations, HUD rules must look like. Uniformity is down right ugly in my opinion. I want my place to stand out as different.

@GreatMartin I was thinking what would happen if all these wild flower seeds (or even flower seeds native to Florida) were somehow scattered all over the property
and grew like crazy

We now have 20 buildings that look alike--gray and ugly!! So far we still have the Queen Crepe Myrtles which I think they can't take down because they are 'native' to Florida.

Money frames one's picture of life. Do you agree?

I agree--we are surrounded by nothingness now!

The "before" definitely looked lively and colorful . . . boooo that they transformed it into such a sterile, linear blah of space.
