Ever since I have started understanding life I have been fascinated with the river, I am not really a beach person but there is something about river that I have always loved....
Later I realised may be this is the reason....
"Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time?" That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future."
This is from my very favourite book...

We have several creeks, brooks and not so much with the river. As we look at them we relate our life is like a rushing water going to the ocean of uncertainty.

That is lovely. There are many quotes that talk about rivers and they all talk about the endless flow and such. It is beautiful! I haven't been near a river in a long time, unfortunately, there is not a lot of water sources around here.
