Celebrating the 4th

It is not often listed as a favorite holiday, but for me, the 4th of July is one of the best. I think that some Americans have lost sight of how blessed we are to live in this Constitutional Republic that guarantees our rights and freedoms. I am distressed because so many generations have neglected learning the history of our great America and have so easily allowed socialism to slip in. Our education system has been dumbed down for years and in-depth American History is no longer taught. I fear for my grandchildren; I am afraid that one day they will no longer enjoy the freedoms that we have because so many cultures want to transform us from the inside out.
At this moment, instead of fretting, I will give praise to God that he has allowed us another year to celebrate living in a country that recognizes and guarantees our inalienable rights, that grants us the freedoms to worship, peaceably congregate, speak out, and report without censorship. I am also proud that I live in a county and state that allows us the freedom to celebrate with fireworks.
So as the 4th approaches, I will be ready to celebrate with food, family, and fireworks.
How will you spend this awesome holiday?

It is a nice feeling to have freedom and to be free as a individual.
