Nature's Harvest

Although I've got quite a small garden I love to make good use of the space. Amongst by flowers I planted some raspberry canes and a couple of days ago I had my first fruit of the season. It was lovely and juicy and so sweet. As you can probably see from the picture above I've still got a few to come. Last year I had such a huge crop I gave some to my next door neighbour, Helen. At the time her three year old daughter, Isabella, was refusing to eat anything that Helen put in front of her and the only things she'd eat were my raspberries! Here's hoping I'll have enough for the now 4 year old Isabella this year although I think she is now eating olives, tomatoes, fish, potatoes, baked beans and runner beans.

Save some raspberries. Don't eat them all as you pick!
