None of these acts were on performance enhancing drugs. Drugs, maybe, but probably not steroids or HGH. I'm counting down ten acts that I feel deserving of inclusion into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Feel free to disagree, but hear me out. Since I'm doing these in no particular order, I figured that I'd start with a bang. We are at #10: the Scorpions.
The Scorpions formed in 1965 in Hanover, Germany. That's correct, they have been at it for over five decades now. With a sound that runs the gamut from in your face hard rockers such as "Steamrock Fever" and "The Sails of Charon" to heavy metal/arena rock anthems like "Rock You Like a Hurricane," "The Zoo," and "No One Like You," to lovely power ballads, "Holiday," "Still Loving You," and "Wind of Change" among them, the mighty Scorpions have been nothing short of a rock and roll force to be reckoned with. And while the band permanently resides in an exhibit within the Hall, they aren't actually IN the Hall of Fame. That needs to change.
Check this out: having released 18 studio albums, six live albums, 28 compilation albums, and a whopping 74 singles, the Scorpions have sold over 110 million records worldwide. Six of those singles have hit #1 in multiple countries, and all of that output has, internationally, achieved gold, platinum, or multi-platinum status 200 times. They have played over 2500 concerts in 80 countries (including a 1983 show in Pueblo, Colorado, where I saw them for 10 bucks!)
Oh, and in 1979, Playboy Magazine recognized the band for their Best Artwork Award for their Lovedrive album cover. And deservedly so!
I mean, geez, what's a band gotta do?

The hall needs a "veterans' committee to vote on the overlooked.

"Rock you like a Hurricane" The band simply rocks. I used to have a cassette tape from them that I've played then over and over... Hits like "Still Loving", "You and I" and "Wind of Change" are still playing on the radio... I am a fan of this band...
