Nasi Uduk, has anyone here heard about this meals? Maybe those who live in malaysia have heard about this meals. This is a popular food we usually eat for breakfast, but some people also eat this for dinner. Mostly, this food seller is opened every morning till noon, but there are some food seller who are opened till evening. Nasi Uduk is made of rice, yes, a steamed white rice with coconut milk from coconut which is grated, and seasoned with nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, lemongrass and pepper leaves. Nasi Uduk doesnt look white like the usual rice and not as sticky as the usual one. We can say it is a traditional dish tho. This dish is usually served with a sprinkling of fried onions, with side dishes like fried chicken, fried tofu and tempeh, spicy boiled eggs, fried noodles, and basil leaves also cucumber. And don't forget the chili sauce that makes it more yummy. If you ever want to visit Indonesia, Nasi Uduk is a must dish you should try. image source: pinterest

It is more like lunch or dinner for me. As we seldom will have rice as breakfast here. It must be so full to have breakfast like that
