I was reading through the news paper and found this above question to which one of Saint has replied in an unusual way ....
According to him, there is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state with another, nothing more. As per his knowledge the obe who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness.....
Plus I do personally believe that all human wisdom is contained in these two words- 'Wait and Hope.

They are both opposite. Happiness is what you get after you successfully overcome your miseries in life. And miseries are the result of your frustrations in life. When your life is miserable you feel the sadness of it.

I kind of accept the statement. One would understand the inner meaning of life when we stay grounded. Happiness, Misery, Joy, Sadness and much more are just the states in life. There is no person in life who circles backs in just one state. God has formulated the sketch for each individual's life with all the possible states based on their previous deeds. One has to seek the acceptance of this design and move on.
At the end of the day, we should just feel -" I'm still alive! Thank God for having faith in me and giving another day of opportunity. What's the next state?"

I don't like pain and so misery is anything that gives me pain and happiness is anything that gives pleasure and has no pain.
