I don't set an alarm to wake me up when my alarm goes off.

I set an alarm to wake me up atleast thirty minutes before my alarm goes off.
Good Morning People!
When you set an alarm do you find that you tend to wake up before it goes off? That's how it is for me. I will wake up before the alarm is set to go off, sometimes as little as five minutes before, and sometimes as much as an hour before. I can sometimes go back to sleep, but that hasn't always been the case.
This morning I woke up about an hour before my alarm was set to go off, which was okay by me. I won't be on mylot for long this morning as I need to jump in the shower, jump out and start getting ready to spend a day with friends. My birthday is on Monday and a friend of mine has a birthday on Friday, so we are going to hang out and celebrate together today.
What are your plans for today?

@ScribbledAdNauseum Same with me. There was a study as well that alarms have negative effects on our health because they disturb our sleep. Something like that.

@Bhadine I think I've heard something about that. That's understandable, especially for those that require multiple alarms to wake them up.

I do not use an alarm often either. I almost always use it as a reminder that I do not need to laze around in bed because I have things that need to get done.

Thank You Very Much. I am sure we will have a nice day though it is supposed to rain all day.

I have never really needed an alarm as I seem to have an internal alarm clock.

That's my problem, the internal alarm clock. However, I still set the alarm when needed because I'm afraid the day I don't set it will be the day I sleep in.

I hope you enjoy your shows.
I should be leaving in the next hour. I have showered but need to finish packing, that shouldn't take long so I'm going to wait until 10 (30 minutes from now) before I start packing.

I only set an alarm when necessary. It's hardly necessary for me to set one. Last night I set one because I was afraid I might sleep in (I went to bed later) and I knew I needed to get up and be getting ready for today.

I don't typically use an alarm clock, Even if I have to wake up for something I do it. Although, I might set one just as a precaution.
