Day 11 Revelation 6:1-2 Revelation 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he who sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Many movies have been made about the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Many interpretations of those horsemen have been put forth. Jesus is the Lamb worthy of opening the seven seals of God’s first judgment of the earth. Seal one: A white horse with a rider wearing a crown and holding a bow. His purpose is to go through the earth to conquer as many people as he can. This white horse is ridden by Jesus Christ who went forth to conquer sin and bring people to the gospel. On His head is the crown proclaiming Him KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. Jesus’ purpose is salvation. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (KJV) This is the beginning of the Tribulation. Those left on earth after the rapture still have an opportunity to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. Thus, Jesus goes through the earth conquering sin and showing people the way of salvation. There are three thoughts on the rapture of the church. The first, pre-tribulation. When Jesus invited John to come up to heaven so He could show him everything that would happen, is considered the moment when Jesus will rapture the church to Himself, leaving those who hadn’t accepted Him as Savior and Lord with one last opportunity to accept Him before final judgment is given to Satan in the final battle of Armageddon. Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. (KJV) I have and always will be a pre-tribulation believer. Here the first horseman, Jesus, goes through the earth, giving everyone left the opportunity to accept Him as Savior and Lord. He doesn’t need to convince those who accepted Him. Have you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, or do you need convincing? Don’t wait too long. Today is the day of salvation. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for the opportunity to accept You as Savior and Lord. Let Your Word dwell in me so people will know You and accept You before it is too late. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 9 July 2019 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

Amen! Those days are getting closer and closer. It was a bit scary when you think about some of the things happening in todays world. Like my husband showed me a picture that looked like a storm cloud, but it was an insect swarm up in Ohio! My first thoughts went to the Bible. Each day, more and more things happen. Regardless, I know in my heart Jesus is there and God will always be taking care of all of his children.
