He was 89 years old.For anyone who doesn't know,he was the Texas billionaire who ran as an independent in the 1992 presidential election.He had one of the best showings for a third party candidate.He participated in the debate.

I do recall his name before. But I think he lost in the election as running independent will most likely be a hard one to campaign.

He was an interesting man and I thought George W Bush was very gracious in his statement about him considering he caused Bush senior to lose out on a second term.
