Is Taking a Nap a Punishment or a Vacation? / myLot

When I was a kid, napping in the afternoon seemed to be a punishment for I wanted to play with my friends outside our house rather than taking a nap. But now the I am old (I'm 55 years old), taking a nap is like I'm on a vacation. My body needs to rest once in a while to recharge especially when we grow older. How about you?

I take some nap, but phone call wake me up.

@Macarrosel I can understand why you would have looked at it as a punishment when you were a kid because you wanted to be outside with your friends. I look at a nap these days if I take one is something that is needed very much.

I can relate to it, and I always have my nap every afternoon. And I feel better.
