Apologizing

"Do you ever notice that people would rather stop speaking to you instead of apologizing when they are wrong?"
Sometimes the hardest things to say are three words: "I was wrong" or "I am sorry". It should be easier if you know you are wrong. Have you ever had a situation in which someone stopped talking to you rather than apologize? Do you find it hard to admit when you are wrong?

@LindaOHio Thank you for saying that. I try to be a good person. We are very much alike in so many ways.

@LindaOHio I have never found it hard to apologise or admit that I was wrong. It feels way worse to me if I don't attempt to make things better. That feeling actually hurts more inside when I have made a mistake and don't feel better until things are right.
But if someone isn't being kind to me and they won't say sorry, I get angry and feel offended that they couldn't try to make things right. Depending on what it was exactly and how I find this person to be, I could either accept they suck at apologising or let them be and allow them to carry the guilt instead of me holding a grudge. Hope that makes sense.
I definitely give up on those who don't see they have done wrong. No point trying to make sense with these people some times. They would rather play the victim and not feel sorry for anything except sorry for themselves.

Good girl! Yeah, if there is a "but" in the apology, then they aren't really apologizing.

@CarolDM That's such a wasteful occupation. I hate button-pushers.

I think most of us find it difficult to admit we are wring in some circumstances.

Socrates said roughly when the argument is lost, the blame begins. I think, first of all going silent is an acceptable reaction on the internet today. There are too many people that won't stop.
But you are right just sometimes saying I am sorry is the most important thing
