My weekend...

I told you that I was having some serious issues with my husband last few days. We were having arguments and didn’t talk to each other after that. He was acting weird and rude.
This was on Wednesday and Thursday last week, since this bad situation my elder daughter (almost 10 years old) was really upset and suddenly she got sick on Friday. She was not eating anything and was crying all day. When mum asked her why, she has told that because mum and dad fighting I don’t feel like staying at home.
Then my mum told that to me and I felt so sorry about her, our fights can effect kids badly, then I booked a cottage in north Island for the weekend and told my husband that we have to go on this trip for the sake of our daughter. He agreed thankfully.
We went Saturday morning and came back few hours before. It was a nice trip and the cottage was really good too. Hope everything will be ok now.

@amandajay I am so sorry for you and your daughter. I am hoping that this trip away has fixed things but....I feel that you two need to actually sort things out. Running away from home for awhile doesn't make everything better once you return. I hope I am making sense as well not sounding harsh as I'm not trying to be harsh at all.
I just think that whatever is going on between you and your husband needs serious addressing! And he needs a kick up the butt too! This whole silence treatment is childish and a form of mental abuse!
I honestly HONESTLY wish the best for all of you. And I'm glad that your time away was good. I just feel like his attitude towards you and to your mum I believe it was ( on another post you said something about this attitude towards your mum ) is affecting you and your daughter. I feel horrible that in another post you said you didn't even want to go home because of him.

I am sorry to hear your daughter isn't happy. Yes, fighting can take a toll on your children. That sounds like an awesome plan and glad you all took a trip! I hope you and your husband can resolve the differences, it will take some time.

I hope everything's fine now. I believe this is normal in a relationship at least you still speak to each other for the sake of the children. I hope all is well now.
