10 year old girl raises money to assist her neighbors in Fresno

I really admire the spirit of compassion of 10 year old Kayley Cross who has a lemonade stand that she uses to raise funds for an animal shelter during her summer vacation. I am sure you have heard of the saying about fate changing plans. In the case of Kayley, her close neighbors Brooke and Josh Rummonds suffered the total loss of their home recently when the fire started in he bins outside their home which destroyed their home to the ground. What Kayley did next was amazing since she placed a lemonade stand just outside the Rummonds home selling 100 cups for donations for her neighbors to get back on their feet. So far Kayley was able to raise around $1,000 dollars that will be going to assist the Rummond family who are assisted by their family and friends to get back on their feet. The power of social media played a hand since people from around the state came to donate money for the Rummond family during their time of need.
