Oatmeal package

Have you ever noticed this solid read line on the instant oatmeal packages. It’s enough oatmeal to make 1 bowl.
I didn’t noticed that this read line that said 2/3 cup water or milk was actually the fill up line. So if you dump out the oats into a bowl and then fill the packages with water or milk to the soiled line it gives you the right about liquid to heat your oatmeal up.
Never knew that!!!

I am sure I've seen the line but never paid much attention to what it was. I probably add less water than that. Good Morning

Haha yeah I never really paid attention to it either because where that line is where the instruction starts.

@ShyBear88 I just tear open the package and make it the way I like it, but it's nice to know that you can fill the packet with the water or milk and get the right amount of water or milk needed to make it the way they intended it to be made.

I think I have noticed that before, but I still add too much water when I make the oatmeal.

It makes it just right for my kids! But I can eye as well and knkw it’s enough just form the fact I’ve made it so muchZ
