1946 - Linda Ronstadt was born. She has retired from being an American singer, songwriter, producer and actress. Her genres were rock, country, light opera and Latin. She's won 10 Grammy Awards, 3 American Music Awards, 2 Academy of Country Music Awards, 1 Emmy and 1 ALMA. Many of her albums have gone gold, platinum and multi-platinum in the United States and worldwide.
Some of her better known songs: You're No Good, Blue Bayou, Don't Know Much (duet with Aaron Neville).
