Hunky Honeysuckle

This honeysuckle, unlike my native British variety which has a wonderful scent and is quite demure in it's flowering, this variety is much bolder, beefier and brighter but it doesn't flower as prolifically as the native and doesn't seem to have quite the appeal to insects as the native one. The scent is sweet when you get your nose close to the flower but the native variety just wafts perfume as you pass, particularly during the warm summer evenings. However, this variety is still a bit of a beauty and I hope you agree.
