The Intermittent Rains

As if my errands and chores were not enough to keep me out of trouble, the intermittent rains made it doubly hard for me to get the laundry dry.
My machine dryer malfunctioned before summer. My daughter wanted to buy a new one. But i was enjoying the traditional clothesline clipping and the heat of the summer sun. The clothes and linen did dry in no time.
Fast forward to today, sigh, my towels are still wet two days now. The intermittent rains have turned me into a spin top, rushing outside when the rain falls, and bringing the clothes out again when some sun shines.
Oh well, at least I have an added activity that gets me out of the house.

My house is old. The kitchen has a leak. The upstairs floors have holes, Sigh., I need major repair. The clothesline has to come last. Hu hu.

@rsa101 Yes. Just that, our priorities concern other things at the moment. The house needs repair but I couldn't attend to it alone.

Yes, a little discomforting when the cold sets in.
My daughter wore her white coat and chilled a little. She didn't know it was damp still, but we were already in the car on our way to the hospital. When she took her cellphone from he pocket, it was moist. Only then did she realize the coat was damp. Sigh.
