A major cricket event has concluded recently. So you would expect cricket fans to be peaceful and busy in their day to day lives?
Well, not exactly. A true cricket fan is always seeking out great cricket moments.
Now, a few days back, I was not looking exactly for this match, yet here it was.
India and Zimbabwe played in a Tri-Series(Third team being Hosts South Africa) in 1996-97 in South Africa.
They tied in a match at Paarl, both making 236. At one stage, India had lost 7 wickets, with 70 odd runs still required.
In came the all rounder Robin Singh and what a hitting he did! he smashed Heath Streak and Eddo Brandes for fours and sixes. Players were getting out at the other end, but he persisted and took India to a tie.
It was a bit akin to how Ravindra Jadeja played against Kiwis in the 2019 world cup semis.

It was a great watch! And one of the best part about Robin Singh was that he could hit any bowler, even someone who would be in a terrific form on a given day, out of the park.
And he was a clean hitter.

@Sojourn yes and he was also a useful bowler too. His fielding too was superb.
