There is increasing evidence that children who witness domestic violence run the risk of presenting a series of psychosocial problems.

@profree2019 That is true since kids need positive role models.

Thanks friend. We must be part of the solution, not the problem and that is the way forward.

For many parents it is difficult to isolate from the environment (children present) their problems or discussions, in moments of anger or disagreements. I think that only with an invasive campaign in this regard, the effects on infants could be minimized.

@profree2019 I think you're absolutely right I love this post sometimes we do not give importance to the little ones in the house as you say it would be good a family orientation campaign

@profree2019 Many children exposed to domestic violence are also victims of physical abuse. Children who witness domestic violence or who are victims of abuse have a serious risk of long-term mental and physical health problems. Children who witness violence between their parents are also at greater risk of being violent in their families. future relationships. If you are a parent victim of abuse, it can be difficult to know how to protect your child.

Yes and that is unfortunately increasing and alarming too. I think the government should step up and address something about this as there are also a few NGO already addressing this situation on.

@dexyrojas That is true it starts from within the family then if not properly processed it can pass on from generation to generation.

Family violence is a social problem that we must recognize in order to give it due importance. This is an issue that has remained hidden throughout the ages, subject to the "private sphere". We must all contribute to raising awareness and awareness about the extent, severity and costs that family violence causes to society and its institutions.

I was an advocate in Inmujer, a body dedicated to monitoring gender violence. As such, I observed that in my experience in this country, and most of the Latin American countries, a somewhat macho pattern of human behavior has been followed, where current century, even women think that abuse is something normal, that will happen over time (in the case of newlyweds) or that prohibitions about your own life should be respected by women or accepted, as those men that force women not to work or not to go out just to have a coffee in the house of some friendship, simply that paradigm must be broken, since the new generation of women and men depends on our legacy.
