Why do you think minecraft is still so popular?

Hello everyone, I'm a little new here, this will be my first post, about one of my childhood games and favorites, I hope you like it :)
My opinion Minecraft is famous thanks to:
1. For its gameplay, for its wide platform where we can capture our imagination!
2. For its infinite worlds, which give the player a feeling that is in another world and with its background music make the game more reality.
3. For your multiplayer method, Who would not like to troll your friend for a while burning your house or cheating for him to explode, or fall on a river of lava!
Among other very good reasons :)

@Aquitaine24 Honestly, I have no idea how long it's been around. I do know that it is still being updated as I receive them every so often.

I am a woman who would consider many and mother of 2 children without knowledge on the subject, but believe it or not, I read a lot about many things because I like to be very cosmopolitan. I think Minecraft fever lies in the versatility of the game and how well you explain it, in what is a game with social content, something that catches you and your teammates, and honestly is not highly offensive, so much so that I would consider my children as they will play to the future since they are still small, Greetings to all!

I introduced my husband to it about a year ago. He initially didn't care much for the game before that citing the bad graphics and comparing it to Terraria. But when I started to play on a server with a mutual friend of ours he started to get more curious about it and asking me a lot of questions about the game. I ended up making him download and play the demo before I wound up buying the game for him.
We just recently created a new world. I am in the process of building a city for him to adventure through at night that will be filled with mobs. Hoping to have it finished in time for Halloween.

Despite I'm not a fan of this game, I consider and agree that it is unique as its way. And mainly for this, is why it has so much success in the gaming industry.
