I'm finally doing it!

Yes, I got back to working on my novel. I worked on it over the weekend, up to chapter 7. I have registered for my first writers' conference in October so I have a deadline to get it done. I'm rejuvenated and ready to finish this product that has taken me forever.
So that explains my silence on here. I have to focus. I have focused.
We're redecorating the family room this week... my husband is. So I will be able to move all my computer stuff into another room and hopefully focus some more. I want it done by the end of August at the latest because I want to pay an editor to look at it before the conference.
I'm also reading a good book, which I will review here as soon as I'm finished it. Finally getting some priorities in order.

@patgalca don't fret 't, hon. mine's currently a semi-disaster, too! goin' through schtuff'n the closets 'f the guest bedroom to make donations to the women's shelter. schtuff 'tis e'erywhere, lol.
