Yesterday our 6 year old saw a little snake in the front yard and pointed him out to my husband so he could check to see which kind. It was just a baby garden snake nothing harmful to humans. He will get bigger over time but he is real small right now so he’ll be eating bugs for a while. We went over with the kids do we touch or go near a snake without an adult. They said okay. The snake slithered back into the bushes.

Eeek regardless of any snake, I'd be running away! Glad it was just a baby garden and not harmful.

The little snake was more scared of us then of us if him/her. It went back in to the Bush because of the kids wanting to get close to seeing it.

Thank goodness the baby snake was not poisonous.

It’s not poisonous they are venomous because they bite. Most snakes are not. Still hurts if they bite you and need to clean the wound out well. Very few stay where husbands are. Garden snakes live off of mice and bugs. Just remember snakes are jot poisonous they are venomous there is a big difference

@Deepizzaguy your welcome! It’s a common mistake so don’t worry about it. We tell the difference because positing is something you eat.
