Blurred reminiscence of the past

Everyone has the past. Some of my past reminiscence is blurred: I cannot remember exactly what it was. Then I don't want to bother my head just thinking about it ans I tried to forget it. I focused on the future like what I want to do for the family and so on. Remembering the past is a waste of time.
Do you sometimes remember your past like when you were a kid or your youth era, what you did then, etc?

Yes, because of the past we become what we are now.

@yanzalong Exactly. I live in the present and plan for the future.

It's too taxing to recollect the past, but it's too handy and easy to recall if you have kept souvenirs like pictures, letters, antiques, and a journal or diary.

@yanzalong okay, that's fine. I have tried to keep those things for my posterity.

I love remembering my past. The past is what created me. I don't think it is a waste of time at all. The past tells the great stories, teaches the best lessons, and built us to who we are today. Of course many things I wish I did not remember and other things I really wish I could remember, but that is just how the brain works.

For that reason yes it isn't a waste of time. Some people are too engrossed in it and forget the plan ehead of them still to be made.

But it isn't that bad to recall the old memories sometimes
