An Arkansas mom shows her heart of gold for people in her community

I know that lawyers along with ministers and politicians are on the comedians love list of jokes since the beginning of time.
However Alma Arkansas mom and lawyer Carrie Jernigan is one person who shows that she cares for her community when she found out that the Payless Shoe Source stores are closing their doors for good soon.
Jernigan admits that she received the idea to buy out 1,500 shoes from the Alma Payless shoe store when her daughter Harper in May wanted to buy some shoes for a classmate of Harper's who admires the Marvel superhero group the Avengers.
Carrie opened up her money bank to buy all of the remaining shoes at the Payless store to give them away for free to anyone who needs a new pair of shoes before the start of the next school season.
Carrie has admitted that the positive response from the shoe giveaway program is incredible since her good deed was reported on social media.
On August 10 at the Alma Middle School Gymnasium, the Jernigan family will have the giveaway of the shoes that she bought to be given free of charge to anyone in the area who needs a new pair of shoes.

Our Payless closed long ago, when I went shoes were going for about $3, I think it is amazing what she did.
I brought two pairs, but after wearing them for a bit, I feel like I am walking on the ground, not that comfortalbe, but good for in the house.
