When I was a Sophomore/Jr. in High School, I wore a long black trench coat, spiked bracelets, my hair was shaggy and my nails were black. I freaked out a lot of people in my West Texas town.
Everybody goes through phases, that was mine.
Now at nearly 33 years old, I think it was rather silly, but I had a blast with it at the time. What is the weirdest phase you went through in your life?

In High School I went through a phase when I wore platform shoes, that ultimately may have saved my life, long story there!

Other than miniskirts when I was out of school and bell bottoms I can't think of anything that was unusual. In school we had to wear skirts, etc...This was in "ancient times" when you weren't allowed to wear jeans or T-shirts or anything like that. lol I was a pretty straight-laced kid.

I guess it was during high school when I wore all kinds of jeans and long blouses that made me look like a hippie and this was in the 1970s and I loved rock and roll and that life was one great big party. That came to an abrupt halt when I started university.
