My daughter's friend and classmate will be sleeping over here tonight at our house. This girl is also living in the same village where we live. I do not allow my daughter to sleep over at other people's house unless we are with her. She also cannot sleep in other houses without our presence. My daughter is 12 years old. But I am very open to her friends hanging out here in our house. I am more comfortable that way. This is the first sleep over. How old are you or your daughter when had your first sleep over?

When I was a young kid, we are not allowed to sleep over and even in college days.

true. Same here. Kids nowadays have sleep overs. Even way younger than 12 years old. Because one classmate invited her before when she was 10?!? But it is okay with me as long as they are in our house

I was 13, but it’s important to know the parents of the children very well.

Never tried sleep over when I was in High School or during my Elementary days, but in college I have a lot of sleep overs.

I don't let my daughters to stay overnight with their friends house when they were 12 years old too. Unlike with my two sons, I don't have to worry for them.

I am still single so no daughter but I like the way you caring your daughter and as parents of one daughter they always worry for her as she is comfortable or not at other places because she not use to it. if you know your daughter friends personally and their parents till there is no problem if you send your daughter to their home as you know them and they like one family but if I am a father then I do not send my daughter to that friend home who i don't know. this is just my opinion. have a great day.

I know his father, I know some of her family but not personally but I still would not want her to sleep over at her friend's house

I also think that is better. She can see friends in her house, it is better then to go at friends.
