And we still have more than a year to go...

I don't want to demean the French people. I've met a lot of them both in the USA and in France and they are among the nicest I've ever met. However I'm not a big fan of the French way of doing things except when it comes to one thing: elections. If I remember right, campaigning is limited to a six week period prior to the election. America needs that. We have 15 months to go until our presidential election and I want to take every single candidate and lock them in a cave somewhere. Anyone feel the same?

I am already tired of the elections, but honestly have been since 2014.

I am not into politics. I had worked with a French colleague before. She is a good friend, but I sometimes cannot understand her English.

@garysibi Perhaps the French colleague of mine is not good uttering the English words.

@Shavkat That's a possibility. English is not an easy language to learn.

I live in a very ethnic neighborhood and usually the French are easier to understand than the others.
