Day 37
Revelation 22
Revelation 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he who keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
9 Then said he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10 And he said unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he who is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he who is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they who do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, God sent an angel to guard the tree of life and the entrance to the garden so they could not go back and take the fruit and live forever.
Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
When Jesus defeats Satan, and His saints live in peace, then they will have access to the tree of life. They will also have access to the river of life.
Jesus told the woman at the well that if she asked Him, He would give her the water of life.
John 4:7 There came a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus said unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then said the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, ask drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knew the gift of God, and who it is who said to thee, Give me to drink; thou would have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Paul said everything must be done decently and in order not only in the things pertaining to the church, but everything has order.
1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order. (KJV)
First, God needed to provide salvation for man who sinned. With Jesus’ birth, salvation came to the world.
Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (KJV)
Luke 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
29 Lord, now let thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
33 And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him.
John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.
Jesus death on the cross completed our salvation and gave us access to eternal life. However, Satan hadn’t been fully dealt with yet. Jesus showed John everything that will happen in the end times, in the Tribulation and final battle between Jesus and Satan. He showed him Satan’s final sentence, eternity in the Lake of Fire, and He showed him peace and the healing of the nations with full access to the tree of life and the water of life.
The angel told Daniel to seal up what he saw until the end. Now the end has come and Jesus told John not to seal up the prophesy but to share it with everyone.
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (KJV)
Jesus fulfilled every prophecy. Jesus then told John, He would come quickly and His bring His reward with Him.
What reward will Jesus bring? Jesus will reward all those who accepted Him, all those given free access to the tree and river of life for the work they did in bringing the gospel to the nations.
We don’t know when Jesus will come for His bride. When Jesus gave this prophecy to John, He told him he would come quickly. Heaven has no time. David and Peter said a day with the Lord is as a thousand years.
Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. (KJV)
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (KJV)
God isn’t slow to fulfill this prophecy, but patient wanting salvation for all men. You will know when the time of this prophecy will be fulfilled.
Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he who shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
We are still taking the gospel to the nations. Many people have not heard of Jesus and what He did. In this time of Internet access, it is hard to believe that there is any place on earth that has not heard the gospel message of salvation. Yet, the gospel is forbidden in many places, Bibles need to be smuggled in, and missionaries face death for preaching the Word. Can man stop the gospel from going forth? No. God will find a way and when the whole world has heard, then the end will come.
Amen. Come Lord Jesus.
Let’s pray: Father, help me spread Your gospel to the world. Open my mouth and let Your Word pour forth. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Matthew 24:5 is a good one to remember about false Christs. Also another good one is : 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
What do you think when you read 2 Timothy 4:3? There are many false religions, but don't you see many false doctrines within Christianity (that say they are Christian)?

Now we know the fall of Adam for he partook together with Eve the fruit of the Tree of life.

@just4him Sorry, I overlook it. They've not partaken yet the fruit of the Tree of Life, which they will have an eternal life. Am I not right?
