My brother came by...

If my brother is in town, he often swings by on his way to wherever he's going. We chat a bit, but sometimes he makes comments about things that I wish he wouldn't--at the same time, though--after he makes a comment (Today it was something about something not being taken care of in what used to be Mom and Dad's room), I realize that I need to get in there and take care of it. I'm still getting used to living on my own, and that in a four-bedroom house. The dog, unfortunately, has no cleaning skills, and a lot of the time she makes some of the mess. So, little by little. I'm learning.
