She went short again

So my 8 year old is always getting into trouble with putting her hands in her hair, not brushing it. Getting food and stuff in the hair. So finally my husband her dad had enough of it today. He told her what should we do about it. At first she cried then we asked her why because we told her we would cut it. Then after a few minutes more of why we wanted to cut it we asked her again what would she do if she had a daughter and she was doing that to her hair. She explained she would cut it to and then asked me if she could wash her hair and I cut it short like I did last year. I told her or course if you want to keep it short I will help you. She always looks so adorable with short hair it suits her.
