While starting out from Murfreesboro, Tennessee yesterday morning to my latest adventures I found myself in a parking lot for a local place called “Slim Chickens.” Cute name! Then I saw the sign on their door. Open every day unless we’re closed. A friend on Facebook asked me if Yogi Berra (the legendary Yankee catcher known for his “Yogi-isms”) managed the restaurant. His spirit definitely lives on in a funny sign like that!!
