Scrolling through the list of freebies on kindle and I came across this one. For all those fans of Sherlock and Watson...
I went ahead and got this for myself, but I'm sort of a purist and picking all in one. I prefer some Sherlock series over others. We shall see what I think of this one.

This book is free, and the kindle app is free, so yes.
Not all books are free, of course.

@Janet357 You should be able to read it offline. Just make sure that you open your kindle app and let it refresh so that it shows the book. Then you should be able to read it whether you are online or offline.

I like to watch Sherlock Holmes movies on TV. I like British ones.

I am picky about what I choose to watch. There was a series of Sherlock Holmes filmed in the late 80's and early 90's that I like (and yes, British). Then There was the Mr. Holmes movie which shows the sleuth in his elder years.

There are so many different movies and t.v. shows out there. I've only liked two of them so far. One called "Mr. Sherlock" and the other was the Sherlock Holmes series filmed in the late 80's and 90's.

I'm not sure I've ever heard of Ben-Hur.
I like adventure / mystery, but suspense is also fun too.

@Sojourn Yes, I mean that I prefer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's work, but I am very picky when it comes to other people's translations of it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Do you mean you are choosy about the adaptation of the original work of Sir Arthur? I think you should be,being a loyal fan.
