What Do You Feel About Physician Assisted Suicide?

Physician assisted suicide is still illegal in most places in the U.S. to my knowledge. Many chronically and/or terminally ill embrace it as a viable/defensible option.
I used to be in the school of thought that considered it, but I no longer do. The terminally ill are dying anyway, rushing the process along deprives them of precious time with loved ones.
I believe my grandpa Donald (who was in hospice for kidney failure) was euthanized by his doctors, because they weren't optimistic about a recovery. Knowing what I know about Donald, he would have wanted to stick around as long as he could.
If his Dr's did take his life, they probably thought they were doing a favor, he would have considered it anything but.

The doctor is in essence killing the person and should be prosecuted.

It is more human if doctors let him or her die naturally instead of euthanizing them.

I think it should be illegal. There are cases where the terminal are in great pain and wish to leave.

I don’t agree with it, for the most part but in the most severe cases I understand!
