Sometimes she asks about my condition, and why I do or do t do certain things, like the other day she asked why I’m not married and I explained to her I’ve bern engaged and found out my then fiancé was cheating on me, so I refused to put up with that nonsense! She asked too why I don’t have children of my own, she knows Amber thinks of me like a Mom, and that I had a big part in raising her, but she really wants me to have a baby, so I explained to her my condition is genetic and there is a chance that the baby would have a more severe form, we also have a history of Factor V Liedien Deficiency, so it’s not a decision I made lightly, and like I said I had Amber, who to me is very much a daughter, and I have Little Miss! I did tell her too that if the opportunity ever came up for me to adopt I would definitely do so! I always had a special place in my heart for those with Special Needs, she accepted my explanation, and understood it, she is only ten, but she is a bright young lady, and I’m proud of her! But I feel it’s best to be honest then to sugarcoat the truth!
