Yay to my mom! She has a few things that I my kids need for school. Facial tissues that’s tissues if you need to know what the heck is facial tissues. Then we need a yellow highlighter and wherever highlighter for my daughter. Her’s just said high lighters so we got the yellow one for my middle one and my daughter picked pink of course he favorite color. Tissues are going for my daughter’s classes room so she has that with her school stuff. Still need to get more supplies.

I think it all depends on where you live and your child’s school system. I have two kids back to back in grades. They get 1 more item each year.

Either that or more supplies were provided by the school.

That's great! They should be ready before school starts for sure.

Yes, those tissues are important. We have kids in every classroom bring a box of tissues, except the specials teachers (music, art, library, Japanese). We specials teachers have to ask a classroom teacher for some or use our own budget.

My kids school does it as a collective so that collective grade shares them including sigh the special classes the kids take. I some firms get the kids those little travel ones to put in there desk for when cold season hits.

@ShyBear88 We always say that more noses come through the music room than anywhere else because we have all 13 grades (K-12)

Oh yey! I kind of miss school supply shopping. We didn't use half the stuff that was on the list in class but it was a good excuse to continue my notebook hoarding haha

You have no idea how many partially used notebooks I ended up with when my child graduated. I ended up tearing out the used pages and giving them to my flute students to use for their lesson notebooks. I marked out the subject and her name in black marker and told them they could decorate it any way they want. Some just wrote their name and "Flute lessons" but some went wild with stickers or doodles. It was fun to see. Now, seven years later, I don't have any more and I've started using email instead of notebooks for lessons.

My kids use them all. They don’t come home with much at the end of the school year.

@petatonicsca I still have so many of my notebooks from school and I did the same thing of tearing out pages I used up. Never waste a good notebook haha!
