I have been considering the above cabinet for our tv stand. It is from Wayfair. I know one person on here said everything they got from Wayfair was awful but everyone else I have heard from has raved about it.
At church on Sunday we heard about vanity and the priest spoke about not needing material things. I decided that I probably shouldn't buy the cabinet. As I spoke to someone outside the church, who told me to buy it, I said I would buy it only if I opened the saved tab one day and found it on sale. Well, yesterday I opened it up and it's $40 off. I was hoping for $100 cheaper, but it looks like I'm going to buy it.
There is so little that fits the dimensions we require that doesn't cost $1,000 or more. I don't think we should let this one slip by. So... I'm going to order it.
The more I look at the bar the tv is on now, the uglier it becomes in my eyes. I bought it at Goodwill over $30 years ago. I think it's time for a fresh new unit there since we have fresh new chair, loveseat and sofa in here.
To get an area rug I will have to get a good deal. Jackelyn Shultz, Howie Mandel's daughter, vlogged about a room she redid yesterday. I loved the rug and asked her where she got it. She gave me the link and said it was on major sale right now. Yeah, $100+, instead of $400+. Unfortunately, they don't ship internationally. So, I won't be getting that.
The buck stops here.

's long 's y'all're happy, hon. fer myself, i side with the priest. would be seein' how to change that which 'tis 'lready there (paint 'r darker stain, add some mouldin' perhaps) versus purchasin' new. then 'gain, i'm not fer fashion, but usability. nothin' here matches, all 'tis ol' hand-me-overs 'r dumpster finds. i like eclectic :)

I've been living with second hand furniture ever since I left home 35 years ago. I'm tired of having old furniture. I'm at the time in my life where I want to be comfortable and love my home. I knew I would have a good deal of money coming my way when my mother passed away, so now is our time. Now that all rooms are looking good I am happily in love with my home - even though the dining and living rooms still have second hand furniture in them. I'm comfortable with that.
