Well, this gal who met my parents before I was born (she was about 9 or 10 at the time) has been playing phone tag with me this week, wanting to chat--I'm guessing she got the bug 'cause we'd exchanged Christmas Cards. So, I was sitting in the living room getting ready to watch T.V. when the phone rang. It was the gal who I'd been playing phone tag with. She is about 10 years my senior, and met me as an infant when Mom and Dad moved to that neighborhood (not the one I live in now--we moved here after my brother was born). So we talked for quite a while; about how I'm doing after Mom passed, I let her know things about me and my brother, my nephews, things that happened when I was a kid and my family left that neighborhood.... and then she said she'd been coming down here for her 40th () High school reunion, and she'd like to stop by and see me (we went to the same high school, though obviously at different times). That will be cool. It was nice to hear from her. She won't be here for long, but it will be really nice to see her. Saturday.
