"Compassion" means having love and concern for others with all your heart. Nowadays by listening or reading to news stories across the world, we can see that compassion for others is lost somewhere. It's so sad and tragic.
It's all their in the news someone in the family kills their loved ones or relatives over some matters. It's such a common thing happening across the world which we read or listen to news in everyday.
The world is becoming a scary place to live in. We as human beings are responsible to create such environment in the society. I don't know it's not difficult to get a solution of any problems without hurting anyone or yourself. I just hope and pray that we the people realise how wrong it is and take some steps to spread love, happiness and peace around us by being compassionate to other fellow beings.

I totally agree with you and it because of social media, mobile and TV because people learn everything from there as i seen one case that one boy killed grandparents just for 10 INR. Nowadays people use smartphone so they want everything instant so they can't keep patience and this they doing crime and they even don't think twice before doing it with their own family members and friends.

This is true to some extent. It all comes down to having a heart of compassion and also life choices the heart and mind are connected as one. I also think the environment that you were brought up in factors into the equation to if you did not receive love and compassion in the home the you can't show it to anyone else.

I don't think the human mind or heart was ever meant to deal with issues every day from and about people we don't know or understand their way of life. We were meant to deal with issues in our own lives, with the people we know and love or don't love. Compassion is only possible when one has some sort of connection to a person or group.
I can feel sorry for someone in passing, but unless I know them personally or they at least live in my community, the sorrow goes away in a few minutes. It's natural. There's no way we can deal with the entire world of pain and fear and sorrow.
We can respond with respect and love, but it simply isn't emotionally sustainable. Such is humanity. Only God can have that kind of compassion.
